The Cottonwood: Modern Rustic Living

The Cottonwood stands as a practical embodiment of modern rustic living, designed to take full advantage of its surroundings with a substantial front porch that extends 46 feet in width. The front porch extends a comfortable, covered area suitable for enjoying lakeside or mountain views.

As you step inside, the interior reveals a ceiling that inclines gracefully from a humble 8'4" in the kitchen area to an expansive 13'4" toward the porch end, enhancing the sense of space without unnecessary complexity. The arrangement of windows along the front of the Cottonwood is deliberate, positioned to seize the panoramic views and flood the rooms with natural light.

In the residence’s configuration, the bedrooms are strategically placed apart, securing privacy for the occupants. This separation also centralizes the communal areas, resulting in an open-concept core that facilitates easy interaction and movement. Here, the Cottonwood offers a no-nonsense approach to layout, avoiding the superfluous and focusing on the essentials of comfort, view, and privacy.
