Hemlock A-Frame Cabin: The perfect home away from home

The Hemlock A-Frame Cabin keeps the building footprint compact without compromising the cabin's layout. The vaulted living space and front glazing bring openness to the centre of the home, while the rest of the plan stays efficient and easy to use day to day.

At 1,482 square feet, the layout includes a dedicated foyer and mudroom, a flexible room for guests or work-from-home use, and an upper-level primary suite paired with a loft that overlooks the main living area. The second bedroom and full bath on the main floor make the plan workable for both short stays and longer stretches away.

The A-frame form gives the home a strong identity without overcomplicating the overall form. Clean lines and a restrained footprint keep the focus on simplicity, comfort, and practicality.
